Who is responsible
Lintel is a digital engineering studio run by its founder, Gencer Karakaya, in Ankara, Türkiye. The founder is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: info@lintelagency.com.
What this website collects
This website has no accounts. When you submit the project brief form on the Start a project page, the website sends what you entered by email to info@lintelagency.com and does not store it. The website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking pixels. The only thing it keeps in your browser is the scroll position of pages in the current tab, so the back button returns you to where you were.
It is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use request logs only to keep the site working and secure.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how fast pages load. It works without cookies or other storage in your browser.
When you email us
If you send a project enquiry, whether you email us yourself or submit the project brief form, we receive your email address, your name, and what you write, such as your store URL and the problem you describe. We use it only to reply, to assess and scope the project, and to carry out any work you agree to.
Briefs from the form are sent by Cloudflare’s email service, and email sent to info@lintelagency.com is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing; both arrive in the founder’s inbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail).
Why we may use it
We process enquiry data to take steps at your request before a possible contract, and website data for our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, these are Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f). For people in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) applies.
Who else processes it
We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. It is processed only by the providers that run this website, our email and WhatsApp:
- Cloudflare: hosting, security, web analytics, sending project briefs from the form and forwarding email sent to info@lintelagency.com
- Google: the email inbox
- Meta (WhatsApp): messages you send to our WhatsApp number
International transfers
These providers may process data in countries other than your own, including outside Türkiye, the EU and the UK, under their own data protection terms.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to handle the enquiry and any project that follows, then delete them unless the law requires us to keep them. Hosting and analytics data is kept for the periods set by Cloudflare.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@lintelagency.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Türkiye, that is the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
Changes
If what this website collects changes, we will update this page and its date first.
