Lintel builds websites and web applications: corporate and marketing websites, and custom web applications such as dashboards and portals. We use modern frontend tooling, with React where the interface needs it, and a project doesn’t need Shopify. We engineer for performance from the start.

We work remotely, including with businesses in Dubai and the UAE.

How we build
- The simplest stack that does the job. A server-rendered or static site is often faster and cheaper to run than a single-page app; a React application is used where the interface needs it.
- Performance from the start: server rendering, responsive images and as little JavaScript as the interface allows, with Core Web Vitals in mind.
- Accessibility in the build: semantic HTML, keyboard access and readable contrast, with WCAG as the reference.
- Search from the start: clean URLs, metadata, a sitemap and structured data.
When we are not the right fit
- A simple brochure site you want to build and edit yourself: a template on a hosted site builder is quicker and cheaper.
- A campaign site where visual design is the whole deliverable and the engineering is minor: a design studio is the better lead.

- Snow / Motion: a React storefront built as a technical showcase, not client work.
- The admin interfaces of our founder’s three Shopify apps are React applications built with Remix and Polaris.
- There is no non-Shopify client website on this site yet: client work is listed only with the client’s permission.

Questions
- Do I need Shopify for a website?
- No. We build websites and web applications without Shopify. If the site needs to sell, we recommend whether Shopify is the right platform for it.
- Which technology do you use?
- It depends on the project: semantic HTML, CSS and TypeScript, React for interactive interfaces, and server rendering for speed. We choose the stack during scoping and explain why.
- Can you work on our existing website?
- Yes, if the codebase can be maintained. The first review looks at what exists before anything is rebuilt.
