The problem is international pricing without duplication. A merchant selling abroad can run a store per country, but each extra storefront means another catalog and admin to keep in step. The pattern is one catalog on Shopify Markets showing local currency per market, plus a theme base shared between sister brands. DiaFifth is the worked example: solid 14K gold necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings with lab grown diamonds, in named collections and a vermeil range. Gencer set up Markets so each of more than twenty markets sees its own currency, and began the theme from his Brennmore codebase, so tested templates were ready from the start under DiaFifth’s own look.
The problem
Buyers abroad expected to see local-currency pricing, and opening a separate storefront for each country was overhead the store needed to avoid.
The storefront pattern
- Shopify Markets pricing in GBP, EUR, AUD, JPY, CAD and more currencies
- Collection and product templates built around jewelry close-ups and material details
- An editable section for each named collection, managed from the admin
- A theme base it shares with Brennmore, meaning one fix can serve both stores
