Domoro Marble: variant choices as image swatches

When a stand or finish changes both price and look, the variant picker should show pictures, not codes.

Some products carry options that are really design choices with a price attached, and a text dropdown makes them read like SKU codes. Domoro Marble is the example: a fluted sink in travertine or Calacatta Viola can be paired with an oak, brass or black metal stand, and each option shifts both look and price. Gencer changed the product template so that stand and finish options appear as image swatches, and picking one changes the gallery and the price together. Collections are grouped by piece and filterable across 200+ signature designs, and product and contact pages carry routes for trade and bespoke enquiries aimed at designers specifying stone.

The problem

Choosing a stand or finish could move the price by hundreds of dollars, yet a plain dropdown hid those choices and generic photos flattened the veining.

The storefront pattern

  • Stand and finish variants shown as image swatches, with gallery and price changing together
  • Art-directed, responsive close-up imagery for Carrara, travertine and Viola stone
  • Filterable collections divided into consoles, mantels, bathtubs and sinks
  • Enquiry routes for trade and bespoke work on the contact page and product pages
