Alize Living: two menus over one catalog
Essential oil shoppers arrive with a scent, a mood or a gift in mind, so the catalog answers all three.

Some catalogs have more than one natural entry point. A buyer of essential oils may know the scent they like, the feeling they are after, or only that they need a present. The pattern here is parallel navigation: separate menus that index the same products differently, so no route feels secondary. For Alize Living’s organic essential oils, Gencer set a wellness-needs menu beside a scent-family menu (Citrus, Floral, Herbal, Woody). Product templates keep the brand’s ritual-led tone and show attribute badges, and three areas got layouts of their own: gift sets, the hair elixir line, and a feature on aromatherapy and astrology.
The problem
Scent and intention had equal claim to the main navigation, and default product cards made a spiritual brand read like a clinical listing.
The storefront pattern
- Two menus, one by wellness need and one by scent family, pointing at the same products
- Product template sections holding benefit copy and badges for attributes like vegan and cruelty free
- Dedicated layouts for gift sets, the astrology feature and the hair elixir line
- Hero messaging and oil photography handled with mobile screens in mind
