Rustik Atolye: engraving text at add-to-cart
When the customer’s engraved name is part of the item, the product page has to collect it cleanly.

Made-to-order gifts pose a specific storefront problem: the order is incomplete until the buyer supplies the text to be engraved, and photos have to carry craft that a catalog image usually can’t. The pattern is to put personalization inputs on the product page itself and pass them through with the order. Rustik Atolye, maker of Lampenser lamps, wooden liquor dispensers and other engraved gifts, is the worked example. Gencer placed the engraving fields next to add-to-cart in custom product templates, built layouts that lead with photography, and added details Turkish buyers look for: same-day Istanbul delivery, free shipping, installments and cash on delivery.
The problem
Every piece is made to order with an engraving, so the shop needed the exact wording from the buyer and had to reassure Turkish shoppers before they paid.
The storefront pattern
- Engraving inputs that sit by the buy button and travel with each order
- Product and collection layouts led by photography
- Trust blocks for Turkish buyers: same-day Istanbul delivery, free shipping, installments and cash on delivery
- Lazy loading and responsive images tuned for mobile
